My name is Maria Westerberg and I am born and I work in Värmland. I have always felt an immense love for Earth and all things wild who live in tune with her. I feel her pulse as if it were mine... A sort of wild heart. I follow the flute of the faun and walk the woods with an open mind and an empty basket. To see wich sticks and twigs wish to leap into my wicker basket. Then I carve in wood and words what wants to be told. It is often about the grandeur of forests. To carefully tread the earth giving worth to the very smallest thing, that is my melody and to that tune the forest smiles and invites me to trip the light fantastic.
