We spent most of the day in L’s sofa, watching films and getting creative. L with some beads and I trying to crochet a bag out of a Robocop video…
The theme of today seems to have been; “people who have problems with relationship”. The first we saw was 101 ReykjavÃk, about a young man (but not so young) still living with his mum. He’s living a nothing-life and kinda get in trouble with girls. It was fun and peculiar and in the same way quite serious too. I recommend it.
Later we saw Sideways. Can’t say I fancied that one as much. Just to say they had the definition put as drama comedy, but I would just call it a drama. I don’t see anything fun with killing animals or being depressed. Not so engaging and at the brink of boring. The moral of the film was also something I didn’t quite like. It felt like a movie some middle-aged man in a crisis wrote and directed… And to call it the best comedy of the year? I just don’t get it.
