Rediscovery

of an old poem:

Yet you Grief when I do not Weep

The morning light
makes your face shine warm
even now I guess
though you’re far away
lurking in the shadow
when you visit

Once you promised me
never to whisper
so when your lips move
I hear no sound
only when I want to
I see your dark reflection
in the pale window of my castle

So sweet the words from you
